Great post, James! Actually, I believe you are absolutely right about the iPad. The truth is that the Apple iPod Touch is currently owned by just about every school aged kid in the US, and growing worldwide. The iPad has tremendous educational and entertainment potential – for parents as well as educators.

Actually, that could be a really good target audience- albeit it’d be a really expensive kid’s toy.

That idea of having one all-round device to help you raise a child would be really great. Maybe mom’s will really dig the iPad when some nice colorful (or ‘cute’) covers come out for it.

“Need to keep your child occupied? Need to quickly surf the internet to find out what illness your child has? Need a new bedtime story book? Do it all, with the iPad.”

I’m really looking forward to the release of the Nexus One, though I’m assuming there’ll be some delay rolling these out in the China market.
